Start With One Reliable Birth Profile

The app begins with accurate birth data. Once a chart is created, the same profile powers the chart view, birth details, reports, predictions, transit checks, and learning practice.

Create a Birth Profile

First Step
  • Enter birth dataEnter name, gender, date, time, and place. The hour field shows AM/PM text for clarity while keeping the actual 24-hour calculation intact.
  • Select placeChoose a city from suggestions so coordinates and timezone are attached to the chart.
  • Save chartCloud charts sync across devices. Local charts are unlimited and stay on the current device.
  • Open workspaceAfter creation, the same profile powers chart view, birth details, reports, predictions, transit, and learning practice.

Chart Library

The chart list is the user's main library. It supports search, filters, favorites, cloud status, offline local charts, and quick actions from the chart row.

Cloud Saved

Cloud charts sync across devices and follow the active plan or per-user cloud limit.

Local Unlimited

When cloud limit is reached, new charts can still be saved locally on that device.

Favorites

Important charts can be starred and filtered independently, including offline cached charts.

What users see

Main List
  • Search charts Users can search by chart name, place, or visible profile information. Search works with the loaded chart list and local/offline records.
  • Charts found The count updates with the current filter, so All Charts, Favorites, and search results show their own result count.
  • Storage pills Cloud saved shows synced charts against the cloud limit. Local charts shows device-only charts with unlimited local capacity.
  • Chart rows Each row shows avatar, cloud/local badge, name, place, age label, favorite star, and more actions.
  • New Chart button The floating button opens the birth data form. When no charts exist, a centered empty state also points users to create the first chart.

Common actions

Workflow
  • Open Tap a chart row to open the full chart workspace with chart tabs, birth details, predictions, reports, and downloads.
  • Favorite Tap the star to add or remove a chart from Favorites. Favorites can be opened from the filter dropdown.
  • Save to Cloud Local-only charts can be uploaded to cloud if the user has available cloud slots and network access.
  • Edit / Delete Users with permission can update birth details or delete a profile. Offline deletes are reflected locally and sync when online.
Cloud limit rule If cloud limit is full, the next chart is still created locally. The app should never block a user from keeping local charts.
Local chart warning Local charts live on the current device. Clearing app/browser site data can remove them, so important charts should be saved to cloud.

Add New Chart

Birth Data
  • Name Enter the person's full name. This becomes the chart label in the library and chart header.
  • Gender Select Male, Female, or Other. The chart list avatar changes visually for quick recognition.
  • Date Select day, month, and year from the picker fields. The app uses the exact selected calendar date for calculations.
  • Time Hour, minute, and second are entered separately. The hour label shows AM/PM help text so users do not confuse 24-hour time.
  • Place / City Select a city from suggestions. Coordinates and timezone are required for accurate Lagna, divisional charts, hora, and panchang calculations.

Filters and empty states

Library State
  • All Charts Shows cloud and local charts together. This is the safest default view for normal users.
  • Favorites Shows only starred charts. If none exist, the empty state explains how to mark a chart as favorite instead of asking users to create a new one.

Inside a chart, users move through focused tabs. The same birth profile supports classical chart views, birth details, question flows, reports, insights, predictions, astro maps, and downloads.

Dhrumanadi keeps every reading tool under the selected birth profile. Users can move from D1 to birth details, prediction, report, and download without re-entering birth data or losing context.

Same Chart Context

The header keeps the selected person's name, birth date/time, favorite state, and age visible while users move between tabs.

Offline First Reading

Core chart calculations run on the frontend, so saved charts can still open and render when network access is unavailable.

Progressive Depth

Beginners can start with the main chart, while advanced users can move into divisional charts, shadbala, dasha, and reports.

Main Reading
  • BC and divisional tabsUsers can switch between birth chart context and divisional charts such as D1, D2, D3, D4, D5, D6, D7, D8, D9, D10, D11, D12, D16, D20, and D24 where available.
  • North Indian chartThe chart keeps fixed house positions. Sign numbers change inside houses based on Lagna and varga selection. Planet labels show name, degree, and retrograde state where relevant.
  • Planet chipsPlanet chips below the chart help users identify planet colors and quickly scan which planets are active in the current chart view.
  • Chart refreshThe refresh control recalculates the active chart view when users need a fresh render after local data or display changes.
  • Chart toolsBirth, Transit, Flow, Path, Spot, and Aura stay attached to the same profile so users can continue the reading without changing charts.

Birth Tab

Reference Data
  • AvakhadaShows traditional birth identifiers such as nakshatra, pada, rashi, gana, nadi, yoni, varna, and related birth markers where available.
  • PanchangShows the birth-time panchang context, including tithi, nakshatra, yoga, karana, weekday, sunrise, sunset, and lunar context where computed.
  • DashaDisplays the applicable dasha timeline so users can connect natal promise with timing periods.
  • AshtakavargaShows Samudaya and Bhinna Ashtakavarga charts with deterministic frontend calculations, including Lagna, Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, and Rahu.

Questions
  • Question entryUsers can ask chart-related questions from inside the selected profile, keeping the reading tied to one person's birth data.
  • Guided contextThe answer flow can use chart context, current app configuration, and available knowledge content to keep responses relevant.
  • Message styleThe UI feels like a focused conversation rather than a form, which makes follow-up questions easier for users.

Report Tab

Structured Reports
  • Foundation reportGives a structured base reading for the selected chart with sections users can scan and revisit.
  • Timing reportConnects birth chart indicators with time-based interpretation where report content is available.
  • Multilingual outputReports can support selected languages when templates and translation content are present.
  • Download PDFWhen online and allowed by account limits, the user can download a PDF copy for offline reading or sharing.
  • Receipt and limitsPaid access and plan limits determine which reports and downloads are available.

Insights Tab

Interpretation
  • Reading supportInsights surface key interpretation points so users can understand chart patterns without jumping between separate screens.
  • Role-based contentSome insight areas may depend on user role, plan, or admin configuration.
  • Astrologer notesWhere available, notes help preserve reading observations attached to the selected chart.

Timing Views
  • DailyShows short-term prediction content for the selected date where knowledge content exists.
  • MonthlyShows monthly themes and connection-based interpretation for the active chart.
  • YearlyShows broader yearly themes, caution areas, opportunities, and remedies where configured.
  • NavigationUsers can move between dates or return to Today without leaving the selected chart.

Save Reports
  • PDF reportsCentral place for report PDF downloads and available export actions for the selected chart.
  • Online requirementPDF generation depends on backend services, so download actions require network access even though chart reading can work offline.
  • Account limitsDownload availability follows plan rules, manual user overrides, and configured PDF rate limits.
  • Best user pathCreate or open a chart, verify birth details, read the main chart, check Birth data, then move into predictions, reports, and download.

Live Transit

Transit gives users a live chart for the selected date, time, and location. It includes the next Ascendant timer so the user can see when the rising sign changes.

  • Live chartPlanet placements and Ascendant update from the frontend chart engine using the selected location.
  • Next AscendantThe countdown shows the next Ascendant change and the exact target time for that location.

Hora and Hora Watch

Hora shows planetary hours, the current hora lord, sub-hora timing, mantra support, and Android persistent notification controls for users who want live timing outside the app.

  • Sub-horaDisplays the active sub-hora lord and timing so users can read finer planetary intervals.

  • Android watchPersistent notification keeps the hora timer, Ascendant timer, and live transit chart visible outside the app.

Daily Panchang

Daily Panchang gives the lunar date, tithi, nakshatra, yoga, karana, sunrise/sunset, moonrise/moonset, day segments, auspicious windows, and calendar context.
